A strange photo. The flowers look like those on a plant here, Salal, but the leaves look like bay or laurel. I presume the picture itself is from the spring or early summer.

Good morning Gen. I took a fair few pix of the butterfly trying to get one that was right. This was the closest I came. It sort of made my day. So here it is. I wasn't so lucky trying to photograph the bumble bees though, and soon desisted from the attempt. I thought they were starting to get annoyed at my intrusive presence!
Hey Luisa. The big Sony camera has given me a few good pix this Summer. I still prefer the older smaller now deceased Sony that the Dad gave me. It was handier to bring around and I think I got pix every bit as good as the more sophisticated camera is taking. I only retired the small one when it got broken in bits. (I dropped it. Again and again.) But I'm sticking to the Sonys. Creature of habit.

The picture is outstanding. It's almost surreal in it's depth. Maybe to go further north is to get closer to heaven on earth.
